From the perspective of a naturalized Texan, this trip was a little chilly. BUT - Maine is gorgeous. Traveling here was quick and easy on Southwest Airlines into Portland, ME. The airport is small so quick to get in and out of. The drive north to Orono was beautiful, but expect some interesting weather. The hubby was a little tense driving in the mix of rain and snow. The Black Bear Inn was clean, accommodating and reasonably priced. The Woodsman's Pub was fantastic and surprising food. Great Maine in the fall Tricia Cano 11/15/2015
